Chrismiles

“I am a classic introverted extrovert, if that makes sense,” Chris explains. “I always test the same on the Meyers Briggs Personality scale. Sense of humor – quite dry.” The self-proclaimed deadpan has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with according to our recruiters. “He is quite a character with a gregarious sense of humor and a passion for recruiting that is unmatched,” says Brian Batistic, Division Director of Crescent Solutions.

Chris Miles was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and has been working in the recruiting industry for 30 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, which aided in his career in recruiting. “I have been in the field since 1986, when I started my career as an Employment Specialist/ Recruiter at Emory University in Atlanta. I hopped over to agency recruiting in 1989, once was a partner in an agency firm, and then skipped to corporate in 2003,” says the ATL native.

Chris has been with Crescent for just over a year now and first met with Brian Batistic, who connected him with a top engineering corporation in Pasadena where he is currently employed. “Christopher Miles has been on contract as a Technical Recruiter since May 2015, and he keeps going strong. He is a detail oriented, very conscientious professional, and is a credit to Crescent Solutions and our client,” Batistic adds.

In his free time, Chris enjoys exploring new hiking trails and practicing his backstroke in aspirations of becoming the next Michael Phelps. He also has a heart for animals; when asked about his pets, Chris replied, “My dachshunds were my kids,” and is hoping to soon be a father to two adorable dachshunds someday soon.

Chris is a lover of many foods and a wide range of music. His cuisine of choice would be Italian or Mexican, he’s always up for a slice of pizza or a good old enchilada! Chris describes his love for music as having a very broad musical palate, though there are too many favored artists to list, he did mention his love for Lifehouse, Sara Bareilles, and Fleetwood Mac.

We truly enjoy Chris’ quirky sense of humor and share in his love for dogs. We can’t wait to hear about his next addition to the family which we will gladly share with you, stay tuned!
