Recruited in February by Reggie Parks, Joseph has already made quite the impression. Beginning as a Security Technical Writer, he has already been promoted to his current role as Technical Writer/Trainer/Project Manager. “After working with the Project Phoenix team evaluating security issues, I was asked to stay on to learn new software and train others, as well as manage various projects,” says Joseph. Surprising? Not when you learn that he is a Former Air Force Officer with a Master’s Degree in National Security Studies, and has published numerous technical manuals, books, and articles.

Growing up in Southern California, he was born with an easygoing personality. His humor, patience, and organizational skills have been vital when dealing with customers and working on technical writing projects. “I appreciate the support of Crescent Solutions team members who made this opportunity possible,” says Joseph humbly.

“Joseph Tatner is the epitome of a hard working consultant,” Reggie says matter-of-factly. “He goes above and beyond to create an outstanding relationship with the client, all while providing a superior performance. The client would do anything to keep Joseph as an asset.”

Aside from excelling at work, he has a bright future at home as well. “After being a single father for 7 years, I have a wonderful fiancée Michele, and we are moving to Idaho in June,” he says with a smile. He plans to work in his current position remotely while he enjoys his new home and continues on with his love of writing. “I just finished the first book in a trilogy called ‘Floyd and Mikki: Zombie Hunters,’ a comedy horror love story to be published in October in time for Halloween,” adding in, “visit fmzombies.com.”

Not only is this Chapman graduate an amazing father and published author, but he bowls, loves movies and video games, and rescues animals. “I rescued and adopted an abandoned cat and named her Munch (she was pretty munched up with a mangled ear, neck, and broken fang).”

How do we clone him?!
