A Change Management Consultant for a major American film studio, Gary first met with Crescent Solutions’ Senior Technical Recruiter, Derek Berger, 4 years ago. “Derek proved to be a great partner in my placement,” recalls Gary. “One of the things that I most remember about my initial placement was how diligent Derek was at following up and keeping me informed about where we were in the process even when there wasn’t much to report.”

No small feat for this small town boy. The Canadian native grew up on a small lake in Northern Ontario. Full of big dreams, he completed his undergrad at the University of Guelph in Ontario and received his Masters from the University of Victoria in British Columbia. Living in Canada comes with some expectations, one being a requirement to love and play hockey. “I am a devout fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team,” says Gary.
This self-described calm and curious person is quite the avid outdoorsman. During the spring, Gary spends time guiding annual white water rafting trips in California, and during the winter, you can often find him cruising down the slopes of Mammoth Mountain. “He is also philanthropic!” adds Derek. Yes, the married father of 2, Delphine, age 8, and Caleb, age 5, even found time to run the LA marathon! “I successfully ran and raised $1,200 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation,” he says beaming with pride. “It was first, and hopefully not my last, marathon.”
