“I’d like to think of myself as easy going with a touch of amazing,” says Michael.

Reflecting on that amazingness, Brian Fischbein, CEO of Crescent and former college roommate at Ohio State, fondly quotes a young Michael, “I’m sure we could fit in that dumbwaiter shaft.” “2 hours later the fire department had to break him out. Wasn’t with me!!” Brian says with a smile.

The Corning, New York native is not only confident in his decisions, but wise. First experiencing Crescent at the 2011 retreat, “I remember just sitting in the meeting thinking (A) what are these people talking about, and (B) I can’t wait to learn this IT lingo!” Prior to Crescent, Michael worked for Hyatt Hotels for almost 15 years as a Food and Beverage Director. Currently working out of our Ohio office, it can often feel like he’s a one-man show. “Since I’m an office of one, nothing memorable really happens. It’s kind of like the movie Cast Away but I don’t have a Wilson,” Michael says with a chuckle. All jokes aside, he is much more than that. “Mike is so great to have supporting our Las Vegas office,” says Regional Director Sonia Petkewich. “He brings laughter and fun to every conversation and I appreciate his drive to continue to learn the craft of our trade. I love working with him!”

Beyond bleeding scarlet and grey for his Ohio State Buckeyes, and bingeing on Sushi and Italian food, Michael finds time to fish, golf, and spend quality time with his friends, 2 dogs Charlie and Bella, and his lovely family. He and wife Jenifer have 3 beautiful children: Hutson (age 9), Parker (age 7) and Kennedy (age 3). On top of being an amazing mother, Jenifer also just won her election for Common Pleas Judge! Big things are happening for the French family. Their 2015 is looking very bright.
