EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Chad Harris, goal-oriented recruiting extraordinaire

“I don’t have a sense of humor, I am extremely serious and just want to be left alone.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, Chad Harris.

Homegrown in Irvine, California, this hilarious IT Recruiter attended UCLA, graduating with a degree in Economics. Full of focus and drive, Chad thrives on competition, never gives up, and always feels compelled to finish what he starts.  After college, this goal-oriented fellow took his degree and a dream, and established his own real estate finance company “Home Team Resource Group”.

Years later, looking for a new challenge, Chad decided to make Crescent his new home. The transition from real estate to recruiting was made easier once he was sitting and partially training with “the king of the nighttime world,” a nickname he has given colleague Brian Batistic.  “The experience was one to remember, but never be repeated,” he says with a smirk. When asked to recall one of his fondest memories at the office, he maintains that the day he found out his office neighbor Tony Bumpers was “a bona fide ninja” is still the best memory thus far.

Though known for his drive and work ethic in the office, Chad’s current life isn’t all about recruiting. Outside of the workplace, he plays with Butters aka Badass, the family Pug, loves being outdoors, plays sports, roots for the Lakers, and is “the last Miami Dolphins fan left in California.”  While he has a passion for fishing, he never seems to find the time anymore. But beyond all of these activities, his true favorite pastime is hanging out with his 4 year old son and 9-month-old daughter. “I love laughing at and with my two kids and wife,” says Chad, “they do something everyday that makes me laugh.”
